Online Therapy

Many people live their lives online and would prefer to access counselling services on the internet, rather than in person. If you are comfortable with technology, online therapy could be right for you.

Visit me online at LivePerson.com, where I provide online therapy by live chat, on the telephone, or with email exchange. In some cases, all three of these options may be used together.

Benefits of online counselling:
  • takes place in the comfort of your own home
  • easy to schedule - especially for people who travel
  • no travel time required to get to your appointment (and no gas costs)
  • appointments can be arranged on short-notice
  • excellent option for people who are home-bound due to chronic pain and illness.
Who should not use online therapy?
Online therapy is NOT appropriate for people who are in crisis. If you are having thoughts of harming yourself or others, please call 911, or your local distress centre. If you are at immediate risk of harm from an intimate partner, please call your local women's shelter or police department.

Therapy via telephone or Skype is typically not appropriate for people who have a serious mental health issue.
